Sometimes this helps you to understand a passage on a deeper level.
Bring your own notebook or journal — label it “Godglu 52” — and use it to walk with God each week. Write the date, the week number, and your reflections as you go. For example: Reflections can be what the verse means to you; and what, if anything, you noticed about the week that just completed, “Did this verse show up in the week?” and if so, how.
Do this before you go on to the next week.
Start each week by reading, thinking, praying, and watching for God’s Word to show up in your daily life — then repeat it tomorrow, and each day for 6 more days. Watch to see if anything is revealed to you during the week, or if you “see” a change in your life.

The book is like the town you live in:
John – would be the town of John
3 is the street you live on – I live on 3 street
16 is your house number – My house is # 16
So I live in John on street 3 and house number 16
Then the passage is what is inside the home:
